Post-Conference Guide Books
SLU firmly believes that the Future Leaders Conference (FLC) is only the beginning of establishing lasting peace in the country. Hence each year the participating student leaders are given the post-conference Guidebook which contains tools and roadmaps towards establishing lasting peace in the country.
The Guide Book is a manual in conducting reconciliation in initiatives at the school level. It contains a 66 week plan and students are encouraged to implement the reconciliation initiatives through SLU school clubs. These initiatives are centered on four broad themes:
Reconciliation and Peace Building
Leadership
Personal Development
Being Proactive Student Leaders
The Guidebook is SLUs key follow-up mechanism and allows students to take reconciliation out of text books and into the hearts and minds of the people in their respective communities.
